About this event

Welcome to AI for Everyday People — Hands-On Beginner’s Workshop!

Are you curious about Artificial Intelligence (AI) but don't know where to start? Join us for a fun and interactive workshop designed for beginners like you! This in-person event will cover the basics of AI in a way that's easy to understand, even if you're not a tech whiz.

If you can type, you can use AI.

A fun, no-jargon introduction to Artificial Intelligence designed for everyday people — no tech background needed.

In this 90-minute hands-on workshop, you’ll:

  • Demystify AI once and for all — Understand what Artificial Intelligence really is (and isn’t) in plain, everyday language, so you can finally feel confident talking about it and deciding when to use it.

  • Meet the major players & get set up — We’ll introduce you to ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, and Grok — walking through example account setups so you’re ready to explore each one on your own.

  • See exactly how AI can help you — Watch live, real-world examples for work, home, and hobbies — then try them yourself. From drafting an email to planning a trip, you’ll see just how quickly AI can save time and spark new ideas.

You’ll leave with a list of proven prompt ideas, links to trustworthy tools, and the confidence to make AI a part of your everyday life.

Whether you’re a small business owner, a retiree, or just curious about what AI can do, this workshop is your friendly, hands-on first step.

Frank has a way of making complicated ideas click instantly. In his workshop, he used real-world examples that made AI feel less like a mysterious tech buzzword and more like a tool I could actually use right away. I walked out feeling confident instead of overwhelmed.

I’ve been to plenty of training sessions before, but Frank’s stood out because he didn’t just show us tools—he showed us how to think about them strategically. His guidance helped me not only use AI effectively but also bring those ideas back to my own team so we could all work smarter.

Frank’s teaching style is relaxed, relatable, and incredibly effective. He takes big, abstract ideas and turns them into step-by-step actions. By the end of the session, I not only understood the ‘what’ and the ‘why,’ but I also had a clear plan for the ‘how.’
